The University of Chester Media Department proudly presents The Greatest Showcase 2018, showcasing the outstanding work of undergraduate and post graduate students.
Each summer, our second year Experiential Project students work tirelessly to produce an end of year showcase to celebrate the work of all our students in the Department of Media - and this year is no exception! The hard-working teams have developed a strong theme and aesthetic for the showcase this year which involves a live streamed TV show, radio programmes, an exhibition, online and social media activities, and this brochure.
The showcase is an opportunity to see the level of creativity, innovation and sheer hard work that our students put into their coursework and projects. What is so exciting about the showcase is that I don't even know what will be displayed or shown or indeed how it will be curated on the night! Ultimately, our students are being given the opportunity to develop their professional skills, to make decisions and manage a large-scale event.
Thank you to the Experiential students for their continued efforts with the showcase and I would like to also say a fond farewell to many of our level 6 students who will be stepping into the working world or continuing in higher education after the summer.
